The New PureLogicol Range

In June of this year, PureLogicol launch their re-branded range of collagen products. Gone are the sickly sweet pink colours, and in comes a professional black and silver design, which complements any salon ranges perfectly.
Alongside the re-branding, the Velvet Serum was updated to use only vegetable collagen, making it suitable for vegetarians and also saw the removal of parabens, colours and perfumes.
The Face Mask Kit can also be used without the additional capsule collagen to make it suitable for vegetarians.
The re-branding came about as Jasper Conran joined the board of PureLogicol and set about improving the brand, which is now proving to be extremely popular in salons across the UK.
The BenTasha Group will be showing and demonstrating the range at The Professional Beauty Show at Earls Court in September, together with the official launch of a new product in the range.

The BenTasha Group

The BenTasha Group is a partnership between husband and wife, Mark & Lorna Evans. The company has been running is various froms for 5 years, although children, bereavement and education took a slice out of the middle: the company was re-vitalised, including the new name, in 2004 with the introduction of the PureLogicol range of non-surgical collagen products. We were already selling Ecoflow magnotherapy range, and later in 2004 we added the Heatpacks to our range. We have since, during 2005, also included Nikken magnotherapy and far infra-red products to our range, and included them all under BenTasha Complementary Therapies.
Mark & Lorna both have a strong customer service background, Mark mainly with the Post Office, and Lorna through print. Lorna gained her B.Sc (Hons) in 2003, from The Open University, after a few years of part-time study. In 2000, just as the company was getting off the ground, Benjamin arrived, with Natasha following in 2002 ("BenTasha").

We chose to offer the PureLogicol range of collagen products as they achieve fantastic results in personal care without resorting to surgery: Collagen is the most abundant protein in our body, accounting for 85% of skin, muscle and connective tissue. From the age of about 25, however, collagen levels start to deplete at a rate of about 1.5% every year – until the age of 40, when the body stops manufacturing it altogether!! The Body Supplement (in capsule from) helps to restart the natural collagen production within the body. The more direct route to results is to use the Face Mask kits and the Velvet Serum, which apply collagen straight onto the skin, with a noticeable effect on fine lines and wrinkles.

The Heatpacks were a bit of a surprise to us: we were not particularly aware of them, but once we had been introduced, we were so impressed with them that we took them on immediately, and haven't looked back since. The Heatpacks are made from tough PVC pouches (made by the same people as make blood bags) containing a hydrolysed salt solution - no dangerous chemicals - which releases energy in the form of heat through crystallisation, so no need for a microwave, making it possible to activate them anywhere!! They are also re-useable, which makes them very sound economically as they cost little more (sometimes less) than disposable heatpacks.

We have also chosen magnotherapy as a product range: it has long been accepted that magnets have a powerful effect, allong with copper bracelets, and the Ecoflow range makes effective use of it. There are products for the person, the home, cars, and even for your pets!
Along side Ecoflow, we also sell Nikken products. Nikken also used magnotherapy, but combines it with far infra-red and other sciences to a great effect. There are also collagen based products from Nikken, which complement nicely the PureLogicol range. Nikken products have been used very successfully by sport stars, increasing their performance without chemical intervention.

I hope that we have been able to give you a brief insight into our business, based in Hemel Hempstead, just north of London, and we would very much welcome your visit to our website, which hopefully provides more information than I have included here!
